CEO, Sharai Johnson, found herself holding down the fort as a military spouse, searching for opportunities to keep her professional edge and earn additional income while staying home to care for a young son. When job interviews yielded no offers, Sharai decided to explore Virtual Assisting.

She discovered that her skills were in high demand by businesses that needed specific help in areas where they were over-extending time, energy, and resources.

In the first eight months, she assisted more than 20 trucking, real estate, tech, and service-based businesses and wrote an educational book about the benefit of Virtual Assistants.

With great success, Sharai leads WeAssist in workforce transformation. The organization and its partners interrupt overwhelm and joblessness with staffing support, new career paths, and workload relief every single day

Tahira is passionate about inclusive storytelling that reflects the many facets of the human experience. A graduate of Boston College’s Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, she studied Communications, and the creative management of brands before she began strategizing communications for companies in a range of industries.

In her work with WeAssist, she creates content for our blog and newsletter, and through her curation of our social media feeds, keeps business owners and job seekers informed on what we do, and empowered with resources to get ahead as well as hiring opportunities. 

Outside of the workplace, Tahira enjoys spending time with her loved ones, staying active, seeing the world, and sharing personal stories on her platform.

Na’Chanelle Brown believes in advocacy and community-building that helps others, and changes the world. After receiving her B.A. of Business Marketing from The College of Coastal Georgia in 2016, Na’Chanelle began serving her local city through event organizing as a way of connecting like-minds and missions.

As Recruiting Lead at WeAssist, she helps to match virtual assistants with clients, and provides administrative support.

When she’s not problem-solving for our clients, she’s simplifying event planning for mission-based businesses, by creating low-stress, live and virtual events.
